By submitting a repair request or signing an intake form, the customer authorizes service and agrees to the following terms:

1. Diagnostic Fee

A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $59 is charged for all devices submitted for service. This fee covers a comprehensive assessment including system tests, failure confirmation (battery, board, drive, etc.), disassembly and physical inspection if needed, and a detailed estimate and repair plan. If the customer approves the repair, the diagnostic fee is credited 100% toward the total repair cost. If the customer declines the repair, the diagnostic fee is retained as payment for the diagnostic work performed. The diagnostic fee is due regardless of whether a repair is performed.

2. Pickup & Return Service

Pickup and return service is available for a flat fee of $15. This is a separate, non-refundable service fee and is not included in the diagnostic fee or repair cost. Pickup/return fees are based on standard service area rates and may vary for locations outside the primary service area.

3. Estimates & Repair Approval

No repair work beyond the initial diagnostic will begin without the customer's explicit approval of the estimate. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process that were not included in the original estimate, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with additional work. Estimates are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

4. Data Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for backing up all data prior to service. We are not liable for data loss, corruption, or software issues that may occur during diagnosis, repair, or part replacement.

5. Diagnostic & Repair Risk

Certain repairs — especially devices with liquid damage, impact damage, power issues, or prior repair attempts — carry inherent risk. Additional failures may occur during service due to pre-existing conditions. We are not responsible for worsening of pre-existing damage.

6. Parts & Warranty

Replacement parts may be new, aftermarket, or refurbished unless otherwise specified. All repairs are backed by a 30-day warranty from the date the device is returned to the customer. The warranty covers only the specific repair performed and the parts installed. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid exposure, misuse, software issues, or unrelated component failure. Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the serviced component only.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Devices will not be released until full payment is received. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, and online payment via Stripe.

8. Storage Fee & Abandoned Property

Devices not picked up within 7 days after completion notification may incur a storage fee of $5 per day. Devices left unclaimed for more than 30 days after completion notification will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of or resell abandoned devices to recover repair, storage, and administrative costs.

9. Communication Consent

By submitting a repair request, the customer consents to receive automated SMS text messages and emails regarding repair status updates, estimates, invoices, and completion notifications at the phone number and/or email address provided. Message frequency varies based on repair status. Standard messaging rates may apply. The customer may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited strictly to the amount paid for the service performed. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Authorization to Service

The customer certifies they are the legal owner or authorized user of the device and grants permission to perform diagnostic and repair services as described above.

By signing at intake or submitting a repair request online, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. Last updated: February 2026.
